Business Planning Manager: Mobile Computing
**General Description**
Responsible for developing, negotiating, coordinating, and communicating business plans between SEA counterparts. Develop product business plans, coordinate product manufacturing and modifications to ensure timely development and delivery of products. May manage Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) to ensure product development and availability to achieve business plans. May conduct Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) meetings to identify sales target status and product requirements to ensure fulfillment of product development and delivery to achieve sales plans. Develops and manages product inventory numbers to avoid bad product loss and to manage availability of Product Sales Inventory. Initiates, develops, coordinates, and implements strategic product launch plans. Ensures available inventory for new product launches. Functions as the focal point to improve communications between headquarters and corresponding SEA team members. May communicate daily between headquarters and SEA organization on production allocation, delivery requirements, and inventory management. Provides sales with daily updates of product delivery schedules from headquarters and against customer product delivery commitments. Coordinates and handles the escalation of critical product availability, launch issues, and sales demands with manufacturing leadership. Reviews and identifies variances in weekly PSI Global product deliveries, as compared to outstanding sales orders and forecasts, in order to plan for future product availability and inventory requirements. Prepares program budgets, project plans, management, progress, expenditure, and other related reports to identify performance and successful achievement of objectives or variances. Responsible for solving moderately complex technical problems and responds to non-standard requests from internal and external customers. Makes decisions within guidelines and policies. Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of directly related experience is required. Experience should include telecommunications industry product management or wireless telecommunications position requiring management of product development, logistics, distribution, program management, and long-term product planning. Fluency in reading, writing, and verbal communications in English and Korean and in the translation of documents and information to and from each language. Experience researching and resolving customer product development, launch, delivery, and logistics issues. Experience developing presentations using a variety of Korean and English PC applications methods, including word-processing and spreadsheet software. Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include printers, copiers, faxes, and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.

Develop and maintain excellent proactive and reactive working relationships with all levels within and outside the company. Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments, product launches, and projects. Read and interpret detailed and complex engineering product development and marketing documents, media materials, and contracts (or related documents) based on corporate legal and marketing standards and philosophy. Demonstrated exemplary performance in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at all levels, especially in the engineering, sales, and marketing areas of clients, prospects, and within SEA. Provide guidance, direction, training, and coaching of less experienced team members in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames. Interact with all levels within the organization and has frequent external contacts.
